Problems In hand (windows 8.1)

Featured Replies

I have an new Windows 8.1 machine, And boy! there are allot of programs/software that does not support Windows 8 (like Powerdvd 10 11 and 13). I have installed GTAIV (easy then I thought) with problems, and I fix it by changing the compatibility mode and add -nomemrestrict -norestrictions in the launcexe properties (as I had 3gb).

Anyway I have still got problems, and I have spent two days trying to work it out and read topics after topics and still no luck. The problem in hand is that when I'm in game (GTAIV) I login to GFWL and then it ask me to update, so I click yes! after 30secs and error comes up saying connection lost and error code is 0x80072751

Please help me on that!!

Other small problem that I have is when I login into the marketplace, it says that it needs to install login assistant, so I hit yes and does nothing. So I download and install it manually, that's when I found out that it does not support windows 8.1, and so I changed the compatibility mode and run as admin! still no luck it will not install.

Hop someone has an answer,
