Police Scanner Not Work

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've noticed my police scanner doesn't work. It was ok yesterday but today no... I have make some research but all the topic on this problem don't have solution, so i make a new one.

I have make screenshot of my LCPDFR Folder and my GTA IV Root Folder. In the log we can see the sentence : "GetAudioFileForAction: No file found for: PLUMBERS_SKYWAY"

Thank you in advance ! :)

Can I suggest maybe reinstalling LCPDFR? So all of the audio plugins are there, or look into your LCPDFR Config file and turn on random police chatter, if its off.

Maybe freshly install your game again? and try that, or if you have car mods in put LCPDFR in last. Also could it be that your SFX Volume is a bit low, or the Music Volume in game.

Hey there i had the same problem for almost a year finally got it fixed. i changed the compatibility mode  to Windows 7 instead of Vista works fine now. If that doesnt work theres also a weird work around by ALT+P then pause the game and then ALT+TAB to you desktop and return to your game and the sound should be restored.

Show em don't tell em!!!
