EFLC is the downloadable content for GTAIV. It is simply another verison of GTA IV.

You can run the LCPDFR mod on either copy just by installing it and the necessary other files.

I'm not sure what you need help with. As Ekalb said, EFLC is basically all the DLC Episodes for GTA4 in a seperate disc so you wouldn't need to own GTA4 just to play the new content.

Other than that, I have no idea what you need steps for stuff. Please be descriptive on what you need help with.

no, no problem installing the game. when i try download the latest version i get error readings and it says install failed. but wen i down load 0.91 version its downloads succesfully but i still cant get the lcpdfr program to wrk. but im going to try the steps given above and see if it works. but below is wat happens wen i down load the new version

Make sure your /gta iv/common/data folder and all the files and folders inside it are not read only and you are running the installer as administrator.

ok thanks the ew version was installed. now its saying error dsound.dll . an i read where someone said to delete that but the game still gives me that error. i feel closer to were i was before and i really appreciate the help.

ok i ran the dianogstic and its says the ASI loader loader not found

You need to have dsound or xliveless installed in your gtaiv root directory to run the mod. The installer even gets you to choose which one you want to install - and you went ahead and deleted it afterward?

yea but i restored it but stil getting gta4 not working. how do i get the game to run i followed evry step yu gave me.

Run the diagnostic tool and post your error log.

ok i ran it, and its giving me the sme error msg g17 media IV diagnostic has stop working.

and it checked 5 requirements :

1 cpu supported

2 RAM supported

3 .Netframework 4.0 installed

4visuualc++redistributable installed

5 gtaiv detected and after them 5 the error shows up.....

I don't even know what the problem you are having is now, what happens? And at what stage in playing/starting the game?

To be perfectly honest I think your best bet is to completely uninstall the game and start fresh.

That;s the message i get

Make sure you're running the game as administrator and turn off read-only on your grand theft auto iv folder

The dsound asi louder is attempting to create it's log file there but does not have permission to do so it seems.
