Hi,

i have a problem with a .wav-siren. I downloaded this siren-wav from the internet, converted it to PCM 16bit mono and wanted to replace it with the GTAIVaud 1.1.

I don't know why but when i replace the siren in the ivaud with my one (485kb), GTAIVaud reduces it to a 280kb-small-file and now a big part of this siren wail doesn't exist which is why I just hear a hiss sometimes.

So, how can I replace the siren that the FULL sound we be played and not only a little part and a hiss?...

i'm not completely understanding what your talking about HOWEVER if you mean what i think you mean, just download a siren mod, in my opinion i personally don't screw around with the IVAUD files

Ok, i fixed the problem. I forgot to make the file loopable. ;)

Now it works nice and i have my own siren mod :D

I have 1 question about IVAUD files, i wanna put a silenced deagle .wav sound in without changing any other gun sound's, how would i do that?

I don't know if it's possible. Because with gtaivaud 1.1 you're just able to replace sounds, but you can't add sounds. Maybe it works with another program or with another (latest) version

of gtaivaud. I didn't use the latest version cause it crashed always. And i'm not sure if there is any another tool to edit ivauds.

Why do want to add this silecend deage wav? If you want to hear it in game when you shoot with the deagle you have to replace the original deagle-sound.

but if i replace the original deagle sound it put's all weapon's back to the original sound's and only gives the deagle the sound mod,

EDIT: problem solved! got the silenced deagle working without changing any other sound's :D :D :D
