I am wondering if anyone here knows if it's possible to detach polygon(s) from a model without it moving them if you move the mouse. I have to constantly check if the polygons are lined up and it's very annoying and sometimes, frustrating. For those who don't know what I'm talking about; the if I detach a polygon or multiple polygons, they move from their original place if you move your mouse whilst detaching. Is there a hot-key is there an option to disable this? Also, can anyone link me to a good scratch modeling tutorial in ZMod that helped you, which shows how to use splines and whatnot? Most of the ones that I looked at are out of date, thanks.

You don't want the polygons to move during detachment? If so, submesh -> detach, click the check box and disable drag
