The officially unofficial Doctor Who discussion thread

I haven't seen one of these on here so I thought that I'd start one now that Capaldi has finished his first series. I'll start by saying how long I've been watching DW and how much I like it.

The first episode I saw was ROSE, which I think was Ecclestones first episode, although I'm not sure. I then continued to watch every episode that aired since then, up to the latest episode that just aired on Saturday.

I love DW. Obssessed with it. It is probably, no DEIFNETELY my favourite show on at the moment. My favourite doctor is probably David Tennant. My favourite DW episode is the one in the library with the Vastra shadow skeleton things, when doctor first meets River, and River last meets the doctor (I think). My favourite companion is either Martha, Clara or Sarah Jane Smith. Now onto the season finale that just aired on BBC ONE

It was brilliant. *SPOILER WARMING*

So at the start Danny dies, which was unexpected. Then doctor and Clara go to a place where there are skeletons to get him back. In part 2, there is 91 Cybermen (one for every city in the UK) and they each go up, explode, release a cyber pollen thing and bring the dead back to life as cybermen, including Danny. But because Danny loved clara so much he does not turn into a cyber completely and still has his emotions and he is still in control of the cyber. He goes to Clara, who says she is the doctor, and Danny says she isn't, they are lies to prolong her life (which they are). Then Danny knocks her out and kills the 3 cybermen. Then at the end Clara tried to enable the inhibitor inside danny to remove his emotions. The doctor tries to stop her but then lets her in the end. Then Missy shows up with the device that lets her to control the cybermen and gives it to the doctor, saying that he always wanted an army. After a short argument between them doctor gives it to danny, who commands the cyber army to fly back into the clouds to be destroyed. After this Clara tries to bring Danny back, with only one trip for one person. Danny then sends in the boy he shot while he was a soldier. Clara meets the doctor and he presumes that they are together. Clara lies and says they are. It was a great end to the series and to Clara, and I hope the next companion is as good as she was. Now we wait for the Christmas special on Christmas day, which looks to be an exciting one.
