LCPDFR install removes me from ALL MP games and issues with LAN + SP games

Featured Replies

Hello, I have recently brought GTA IV on Steam to play LCPDFR on my lan with a friend and so has he.

My LAN has all my ports on my router open for GTA IV multiplayer - I can get into games (with LCPDFR) and play for a little while until I or my friend randomly get a crash or booted from the LAN game. I also get random crashes using LCPDFR in SP too, GTA IV runs fine in both MP and SP without LCPDFR.

I was wondering if there is any tips or tricks any of you could provide for me so we can get this fixed and so we can rock up LCPDFR.

( Playing with dsound - GFWL - have Rockstar Games account - running only LCPDFR mod - most recent patch of GTA IV - tried auto and manual installation of LCPDFR (same results) multiple times - and running the game as Administrator.

Can play all other LAN games without issues and not a PC speed thing either - this is a new quad core machine with Nvidia 610GT 2GB card.

ALSO

Some times when playing GTA with LCPDFR on close I get the memory crash thing. Followed instructions on how to fix this with no luck in getting different results.

It's my first time posting on this Forum - don't have forum knowledge - let me know if you need anything else added to help me.

Hope you can help. :)

Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you reply I thank you again.

-Carl Smith

P.S have no recent logs to show as just re-downloaded GTA IV from steam - not yet installed LCPDFR.
