Keeps crashing within 30 secs of alt + p

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

First time I ran the mod everything seemed fine, no crashes. But now everytime I activate it using alt+p it crashes within 30 seconds. You get to choose the uniform, the car, drive a block or so then it crashes to desktop with no error message.

I have followed the 'read this first' doc on the support forum and checked all files are intact and where they should be, checked program version, .net etc etc, I can't see any problems but I'm by no means an IT expert so could be missing something obvious.

I've attached the diagnostics report as requested. There seem to be a few errors shown (beyond the web server errors) such as cannot spawn civilian and object reference errors, something about object obfuscation also. Is any of that important?

I did have some extra mods installed from your website, the indicators one and the dash cam so initially I thought these might be causing the problem. I removed both, then ran GTA without LCPDFR activated and it ran stable until I closed it. Then ran GTA still without the indicators/dash cam mods, activated the LCPDFR mod and within 30 seconds same crash to desktop scenario. I have repeated this numerous times and it crashes every time.

Please help! It's a brilliant mod but for some reason now crashes all the time.

have you tried using xliveless asi loader instead of dsound

Thanks GTARescue1, a super speedy response, much appreciated. That worked, everything is stable now. Seems also that the reinstall of the 0.91mod to get xliveless fixed the problem, because it now runs fine under dsound as well. No idea what caused the problem but its all good now. Thanks for your help  .
