Vehicles Not Spawning

Featured Replies

I had this problem earlier today with my game and the vehicles weren't spawning, i fixed it by closing Open IV as i forgot to close it. Now it's doing the same thing, but Open IV is closed and i am only using a few car models that i have used dozens of times before. Help Please?

This is some kind of a bug with OPEN IV's latest update on 7th August. The same thing is happening to me. I think the problem is with the Textures Mipmaps Level and DXT Compression. I found that when i replaced a certain texture the mipmap level automatically changes itself to something else. Eg: If you oen a original .wtd file suppose "police2.wtd" and you want to change a texture say"cvpi_sign_1" you can see the actual mipmap level on the texture was "6" but as soon as you replace it with some .png file of your choice it changes the mipmap level to "7" or "1" and that is what is causing the spawning problem i guess. If you try to spawn cars via LCPDFR it won't work too.. it just freezes itself after you change to cop and walk outside the station. I am trying to find a solution to it. In Short: OPEN IV MESSED UP!!
