When the blue lights on my car come on, the walls and road light up red as if the lights were red. Help would be much appreciated!

I'm going to assume you have ELS8, if you have an earlier version the SLOT_CONTROL file doesn't exist, but the data in it is instead found in the els.ini file in the main game directory, if I recall correctly from at least ELS7

 

Go into the ELS folder in your game directory.

 

If you only have a SLOTCONTROL and default_config file, open up the default_config file, scroll down to "[ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ]" section, and simply change entries that say RED to say BLUE.

 

If you have more than those two files, open up Slot Control and find the car you want to have blue lights, let's for example say [ POLICE ] slot. Under the name there should be Status=On and File=*

 

Whatever is there in place of the * is the filename. Go back to the ELS folder, find *.ini, change it the same way I said for the default config above.
