ZModeler Help

So I am pretty new to modding vehicle models and I am using parts from other games or scratch made for my vehicle (mainly trunk equipment, not all have this issue) and I have no idea how the texture layers should be set up, I have added multiple layers and it still doesn't show up in game, only in OpenIV! Can anyone carefully explain how to set up texture layers? And what do I do if a lightbar texture has the same name, when I try to rename it and make the textures in the same position, it gets all messed up! I am trying to add some mirror lights to me CVPI, yarg. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

NOTE: I disabled the other equitment for the pics in ZMod.

An example of how an antenna texture is set up (it also doesn't show up in game, neither does my window cage).

Snip

Napoleon has a pretty good tutorial on material setups on another site you should check it out. And you have way to many materials. You shouldn't have duplicates of the same material, that will cause RC20's.

I googled it, but I can't find anything. Can you possibly link it?

Im no expert, but i know a thing or two! LOL For your parts no showing ingame, try adding mesh at the end of the name Example (grey_antenna mesh) and for pngs with the same name, just add a 1 to the end Example (emerglights) to (emerglights1)

Let me know if this helps!

Instead of renaming the textures, remap them

Okay guys, I fixed it! I was looking at Vertex's equipment in ZMod and I set the materials up the same. I exported it and saw something about a shader issue, looked at the way that the equipment was named and I then added "generic" to the end of the material name and it showed up in game. Soooooo happy :) and I also took care of the other issue.
