1.0c installing but not actually being used?

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I have this problem I had with 1.0b. I used to automatic installer to install 1.0c. The installer defaulted to steam (where I have EFLC) so I moved it to my gta iv folder (disc). No problem, I continued on through the installer no problem. When I opened the configurator, it said there was no ini in the EFLC folder (despite me installing LCPDFR to a different location) and that it wanted to know if it could create it. I allowed it and after the configurator, I checked and nowhere in EFLC was the .ini.

Moving forward, I go ingame, and I'm clearly running 1.0(a) because nothing from 1.0b or 1.0c are as they are. No abnormal crashes that prevents play, I just cant use 1.0c and the features (such as calling in someones ID in a stop).

No, I did not attempt to remove my LCPDFR before installing 1.0c, I assumed 1.0c as a hotfix would replace/add the necessary files as needed and isn't the full mod itself. Also unsure on how I should properly uninstall LCPDFR before 1.0c if that is necessary.

Any ideas?

In case it's relevant, I use the following mods in addition to LCPD:FR:

- Trainer

- vdh Police Helper, Tower, and METT/Coroner

- A small handful of police vehicle mods

Update: I had to make a few changes and go a little further, but eventually I managed to get the manual install working.

Just a question however; how can I link my account through manual install?
