ELS V7 and V8 Won't Work?

I'm having an issue with getting ELS to work. I tired installing both V7 and V8 and I am having the same problem with both. I am unable to get the control panel to work. crtl+m does nothing. I even tried changing it to another button combo but that is a no go either. I do have keys disabled with the trainer and all the correct files are installed in the right place. The only thing i'm able to get out of ELS is a beep when I press ctrl+backspace and a beep when i press scroll lock. Also on the lightbar, one end is slightly lit up. Any idea what may be happening or what i may be doing wrong?

UPDATE: Got it working.. Turns out my game file was corrupt. A fresh installed fixed the issue.
