Featured Replies

Hello guys,

you're my last chance. I'm now battling this problem for three days in a row and still got stuck.
I hope you can help me out.

I installed and reinstalled GTA IV and LCPDFR multiple times without any succes, tried all different ways and fixes and searched all topics for any help.
Since I've installed LCPDFR 1.0b my GTA IV (which I legally purchased via Steam) wont start. "GTA IV has stopped working" with following signature:

Problemsignature:

  Failuremodulename: AdvancedHookInit.asi_unloaded

When LCPDFR 1.0b is deinstalled GTA IV runs without a problem.

+ GTA IV is patched to 1.0.7.0
+ There are no other modification
+ GTAIV.exe and LaunchGTAIV.exe are running as admin
+ There is no crack installed
+ The folders are not "read-only"

I have installed:

DirectX 11
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
........................Framework 3.5
........................Framework 4.5

......................... C++ 2010 ....................... (x86)
......................... C++ 2012 ....................... (x86)
......................... C++ 2013 ....................... (x64)

My system is:

+ Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit SP2
+ Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66 GHz
+ RAM 8 GB
+ AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series 1024 MB

I have attached:

+ asilog.txt
+ lcpdfr.log
+ advancedHookInit.log
+ Diagnostics from LCPDFR Diagnostic Tool
+ Screenshot of the Root GTA IV folder

I hope that I have given you all information you'll need. If not let me know.

*EDIT AND SOLUTION*

I Tried and deleted the AdvancedHookInit.asi as it could'nt be loaded as shown in the crash signature.
Also I deinstalled the Microsoft .NET Framework 2013 dedistributable (x64) and copied the msvcs100d.dll into the root folder.

I think the Tazer is not going to work but now LCPDFR 1.0b runs without any trouble! Hope I helped everyone with a similar problem :)
