I recently installed GTA IV on my laptop and it was working.I then found that LCPDFR .95 had just come out, I downloaded and installed the mod onto GTA IV like the instructions say and before starting the game again i decided to put a car mod into the game also (Police car with ELS v5). I then tried to start the game again but it didn't start. It just came up with "GTA IV has stopped working". I restarted my laptop and tried the game again. The same message came up. I unistalled GTA IV from my laptop completely and then reinstalled it. It worked just like last time so I installed LCPDFR and tried to start the game then. I didn't try to install the car or ELS this time. It came up again with "GTA IV has stopped working". The message comes up as soon as the game gets started
