Zmodeler transparent textures issue

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

In zmodeler I opened a vehicle model just fine, but when I merged the interior it's transparent, the only way you can see the interior is inside the car. It can't be viewed externally. It has something to do with the glass, when I delete the glass I can see the interior. This is my first model so I just need some help.

Thanks

It's because you haven't imported any of your vehicle_generic textures, and by the looks of it, you haven't imported any of the vehicle textures either.

SCNG FTW!!

interior should be above the glass eg.

-chassis_L0 (the interior)

-door_dside_f

   |-window_lf (do this for the other doors as well

-windscreen_f

-windscreen_r

^^^ This! I suggest you read up about GTA's hierarchy before you try modeling. I can help you with that if you wish.

change the object texture

very informal example:

chassis_L0 > prop. new material / change material "chassis (interior)"

widscreen_L0 > prop. new material / change material "windows (vehglass)"

Using gimp or photoshop you can change the windows opacity.
