Niko Drives Himself Bug?

Recommended Posts

Please refer to http://youtu.be/-T9DlHZKaT0 for a short video regarding this. It's accompanying description is what I will post here. Not sure whether it goes into LCPDFR 1.0 support or GTA IV support so I posted it here.

Please watch in HD. It is available or your eyes will suffer. :P

Was randomly driving down the streets of LC in GTA IV when Niko decided he wants to drive himself. Although you see only in-game footage here, you have my word that my hands were completely off the keyboard during this full cycle which had in fact lasted about 5 minutes before I was shot dead by the police.

I am running a legitimate copy of GTA IV from Steam which automatically patches in any new updates and I was on LCPDFR at the same time this happened. No error message of any kind was displayed prior or after this, and after I died and respawned at the hospital everything became normal.

However, I did notice that Niko did not have his LCPDFR uniform (police) on when this occurred. It seemed highly likely that LCPDFR may have stopped running (wild guess?) at that point when he starts automatically driving himself, but yet for the previous 4 minutes that wasn't recorded I was STILL receiving callouts, making me doubt if LCPDFR had even crashed at all.

And no, I do not have additional policing scripts. All you see is the most original in game scripts, LCPDFR and a few police vehicle models.

Any ideas?
