LCPDFR 1.0 startup crash

Featured Replies

Hello lcpdfr staff.

Thanks for working so hard on this great mod and bringing the 1.0 to life :)

I have been running into some errors and bugs since I made a fresh install of my GTA IV today (29/12-2013)

Completely fresh install, updated to 1.0.7.0 and then the automatic installer for lcpdfr.

First my GTA didnt want to update to 1.0.7.0 (fixed)

Then lcpdfr OR gta iv crashed when attempted to do the first run upon loading the level. (fixed by repairing installation with auto installer)

3rd. after the repair fix, the game ran for about 30-60 minutes and then crashed.

Now crashes everytime I hit the "start" button in main menu of GTA IV.

tried the following: Folder set to NOT "read-only" and run as admin. And crashes again.

Now I tried to delete the "Advancedhookinit" file and did a manual taser install as your guide mentionend and I will now try to run the game/mod again. (update to follow!).

Below my attached log files.

Thanks

!!!!EDIT!!!!

After the manual install of taser the mod started and played without any bugs or errors! Very well made :)

However trying to activate my lights (not default G) but hitting the numpad / the game crashed imidiately?

Try to do the "Manual install". That worked for me and it did not crash like for 1 or 2 hours for me. I don't know how it is going to be for you though. WARNING: Do not delete those "AdvancedHook" and "AdvancedHookInit", those are important for lcpdfr.
