Can't Launch GTA IV EFLC with and without LCPDFR 1.0

Featured Replies

Hi!

So i need some help. I haven't been playing GTA for a long time and i saw that LCPDFR 1.0 got released so i installed my copy of GTA IV ELFC (CD not Steam). But when i launch it nothing happens! When i use xliveless it starts up like normal.

So basiclly i think that i cannot update my game because it won't launch without xliveless and with xliveless i can't acess updates etc.

I had something similar happen to me and I fixed it by updating the game manually. Go to the link below and click one of the languages (the English one) and then update. However, if you have multiple backups of GTA 4 EFLC, like if you have one for mods and another one with just the game, it is only going to update the game in the default directory. You can fix this by making another copy of the EFLC folder once it updates, and then using that backup for your mods such as LCPDFR http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145386-Grand-Theft-Auto-Episodes-from-Liberty-City-Title-Update-1-1-2-0-Patch-2-
