3ds Max doesn't support GTA IV formats?

Featured Replies

I got 3ds Max 2013 unregistered (because Zmodeler is glitchy as hell) and I can't import or export and GTA IV 3D files (WFT, WDD, WDR) aren't shown.

So, do I need the full version or is there is some kind of plugin required?

There are no import/export formats regarding GTAIV for 3dsMax.

People (me included) tend to do the actual work in 3dsmax, and then export it as something zmod can understand(import) and then fix it accordingly and then export to GTAIV format.

Question: Why did you put the image url in spoiler tags?

Nevermind, you fixed it :P

A few people are working on 3ds Max scripts on gtaforums, but afaik they haven't finished them.  There was support to import WFT but not export.  WDR and WDD is fully supported though.  Its too bad its taken this time to work on it, because like you said zmodeler is quite buggy/quirky.

Zmodler2 is the only program that supports the GTA IV file format(atlest that what they claim), sorry but it seams your going to have to use Zmod
