How do I install Skin Mods?

Sharp-

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I want to upload a skin to a car, but have no idea how. And the skin is not just black or white or solid color, but its a skin where I can get a link from, so it has Police signs and things on it. I don't know how to install a skin mod to a selected car....any thoughts on how to help me?

Thanks.

If you want a skin pack From BXBugs123 here download here :http://www.gtapolice...i-textures-v90/

Please edit your posts rather than double posting (if it has not been more than four minutes). Although this is indeed a texture pack, he may not have a CVPI. Thus, the skins wouldn't fit.

@OP

Once you download the skin, open it and you should see either a .wtd file OR a file with a name similar to that which NYPDLieutentantNICK mentioned (policesign). If it is a .WTD, just import the .wtd file to vehicles.img.

If it is a file like "policesign_X" (X meaning a number like 1,2,3, et cetera) then go to vehicles.img with SparkIV, find the .wtd file of the car you want to put the skin on, and then click "edit" on the taskbar, like the post before me states. Then, just find the skin you want to replace, select it, then select "import" from the SparkIV menu.
