I got a New Computer N' it is Windows 8 N' I tried different settings N'

I still can not play GTA. Is their some thing that I can Download, or

some settings that I don't know bout that I can try?

I am currently running Win8.1 and there is no issue with it. I was running win 8 before and again there was no issue.

You need to download the latest Games for Windows Live client: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient

 

Uninstall the old one before installing the new one.   As UrbaneDegree18 said, both 8 and 8.1 work fine with GTA IV.
