Photoshop CS6 help

Does anyone know how to change the gradient colors on Photoshop. I'm trying to get black and yellow but it doesn't have it on the color list.

Click on the palette, and drag all around until you hit yellow. Black should already be there by default.

The easiest way to set up a gradient is to change the colours in the palette like Michael said. Make the foreground colour yellow, and the background black (or vice versa). Then select the gradient tool (in the same section as the bucket tool) and click and drag on the canvas.

If you're trying to do it via layer styles/effects, you're going to have a bad time.

Also, I suggest just doing simple google searches for these things. Although we don't mind answering your questions here, there are much more detailed explanation on the internet. Search for things like "gradient tutorial".
