A more realistic LCPDFR experience

Featured Replies

Well, I always play LCPDFR like this so I thought, why not suggest this to everyone.

This site lets you listen to live police scanner feeds of the entire United States and some other European countries.

This includes police scanners, EMS scanners and fire department scanners.

I myself listen to the live feed of the NYPD manhattan area since GTA IV is located in a New York based environment.

It really enhances the feeling of realism since you are listening to live callouts and events that happen at that time.

Just go to the site, pick your state, county, city,... (the choices is just endless!) and let the window open while you are playing LCPDFR.

Hope I could be of any help for people who want a bit more realism ;-)

My bad. It is indeed different in the sence that Break uses a media player instead of the web player.

Anyway, sorry for not having noticed Break's topic. Was only trying to help.

This method could easily work for people who don't want to hassle with downloading another media player, so I would say you helped.

Thanks. Glad it could be somewhat helpfull after all. Guess I'll have to look through the forums more carefully before posting something.

Yes! Great idea! This is possible, and somewhat easy to script ETA: 3 - 9 hours. Depending on Dev team.

I've scripted similar stuff, for MTA SA server. In other words: Live web streamer.
