Game freezes when going to multiplayer [PoliceHelper]

Featured Replies

Hi all, this is my first post on these forums, so if I did/do anything wrong, please tell me.

Alright, let's start off with the explanation of my problem. When I'm in single player, everything works fine. I bring up the GTA IV mobile phone, and select multiplayer. I select free roam (or something like that), and the game initalizes the multiplayer. Once the screen comes up where you can choose the multiplayer settings for the server, is freezes. Everything stops flashing and after a few seconds GTA IV closes with the well known message: 'Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working". When I remove PoliceHelper everything runs fine, and it did run fine once when I put back the PoliceHelper mod, but since I crashed out of multiplayer the time it worked, it refuses to work. I already tried everything like, running as admin, ensuring the directory is writable, but it doesn't change anything.

All help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
