IV & EFLC Patch/Update Error

Featured Replies

Hi all! Awesome site here by the way!

I have a problem reguarding IV and Episode of Liberty City Update Patches.

As most of you know that when you re-install the games that you are required to accept a update for the game and/or GFWL.

I click "YES" and as soon as the update completes, I quit to finalize it.... only thing is as soon as it starts it fails with the typical error message saying somthing like "Please see file C:blahblahblah" or "Please run the setup.exe"

So I downloaded the updates from Rockstar's website, and the problem still comes up.

I've tryed everything that I know to solve this annoyance.

Even extracting to the game's folders doesn't work.

And before anyone think's this, it's a clean install game, no mods or anything, just a clean version.

I made a back-up so I don't have to wait like another half hour for it to re-install lol.

So any thourghts/suggestions are apreciated.

Thanks in advance! :-)
