Cant update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 for LCPDFR. help!

I cant install the 1.0.7.0 update to play lcpdfr 0.95RC2, and with the update it says that rockstar games social club is no longer needed, and it uninstalls it, and then GTAIV wont start back up. ive tried reinstalling gta and itll play the first mission and prompts me to save through GFW, and it freezes and wont save. I have no clue where to go from here. can anyone help me? im on version 1.0.0.0 now.
