Cannot see ELS headlight wig-wags or strobes with Natural Vision Evolved

Featured Replies

Sorry for the duplicate post! The website was giving me error code EX0 and was not showing my post as uploaded.

NVE seemingly decreased the brightness/visibility of wig-wag headlight and strobe coronas that come from ELS on police vehicles. I have tried modifying various NVE parameters and some ELS parameters without any luck. I have increased headlight/taillight brightness settings in the NVE settings but these do not affect ELS wig/wags or strobes. I can still see the reflections of these lights, but the actual light source is almost removed. It is barely visible up-close. Please see this video for a demo of the issue (https://youtu.be/m-YnAZFZF20).

I went on the Discord server for NVE support but the tips I got did not solve the issue. Someone said it could be a carcols file parameter that needs to be edited. I did install the LSPDFR-specific addon that NVE comes with, and NVE was the very first mod I installed in a fresh GTA 5 install. Other players have had this issue (other threads on lcpdfr.com exist but no solutions have been posted to the best of my knowledge).

Thanks!!
