Hi all,

 

I have installed GTA IV on my new computer from scratch and installed all my mods (LCPDFR, Braveheart and VDH). I have got the ELS running as J primary key and K as secondary. I try pressing both or either keys and the lights dont switch on. It takes 5 times of me pressing the key to turn them on. When I have them on and out the car for instance, they turn off if an ambulance or police is called to the scene. Can you help please? I have looked in the log files and everything seems functioning.

    Try to disable keys in trainer

     

    Yep i had the same problem a while back and turning off the trainer (RCtrl + RAlt + D) or just disabling the keys (Press F3 then scroll through the trainers options menu to disable keys) worked a treat.

    The trainer im using has never caused me this problem, only on this install of the game. The trainer im using is this: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/ingame-trainer-v190-f2128

     

    I havnt got any shortcuts link to this trainer so I cant see it effecting my ELS.

    An update - it seems as soon as another car which is using ELS in the area, my car ELS switches off until the other car dissapears?!

    Your lagging even though it may not seam like it you are, try facing the camera straight down at your vehicle and try to turn on ELS, i know, may sound dumb, it happened to me to but, when i upgraded my video card, ELS works flawlessly now.
