How is LSPDFR 0.5.0 or 0.4.10?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there is any update on the development of LSPDFR 0.5.0 or 0.4.10. It seems like it’s been a while since the last official news, and I’m really excited to see what the team has been working on.

Also, while we wait for more information, I’d like to share a few ideas that could make LSPDFR even more immersive and enjoyable:

🔹 Apartments / Houses
This apartment mechanic in the game is really cool and brings a great experience. It would be interesting to have more property options or a way to actually purchase apartments and houses. Many players do a sort of roleplay with LSPDFR, so the possibility of buying properties in residential areas in northeast Los Santos, near Mission Row, or in the area around the casino would make everything even more immersive.

🔹 Tattoos
It would be great to customize the officer with tattoos. Currently, we can access the tattoo studio menu, but we can’t actually apply them. Implementing this feature would greatly enhance immersion and let us create unique characters.

🔹 Police Partners
I really miss a native partner mechanic like we had in LCPDFR. Today, Ultimate Backup provides this function, but it still has a lot of bugs. It would be amazing to have official partners in the mod, including the ability for them to drive the patrol car while the player sits in the passenger seat.

🔹 Mechanics from Police Simulator: Patrol Officers
I think some players here have already tried this interesting game, which has many mechanics that could be adapted for LSPDFR, such as:

  • Shift schedules and working hours.

  • Office activities like filing reports and checking information.

  • A more advanced in-car computer system.

🔹 In-Depth Investigations
It would be very interesting to add callouts where the officer needs to collect evidence at the crime scene, like photos, fingerprints, and witness statements. There could also be a case archiving system in the station’s computer and surveillance missions to watch suspects before making an arrest.

🔹 Integration with Firefighters and EMS
It would be great to have more interaction with firefighters and paramedics. Maybe even allow the player to take shifts as a paramedic or firefighter in the same save file, creating a complete First Responder experience.

🔹 Career Progression
Adding a progression system where the officer can get promotions and unlock new equipment (weapons, vehicles, uniforms), progressing from rookie to sergeant or lieutenant. It would also be interesting to earn badges or medals for certain types of service.

🔹 Deeper Interaction with Civilians and Criminals
It would be nice to have more detailed dialogue options, like questions and answers in an interrogation style. Also, it would be great to recruit informants who can provide tips about criminal activities, creating new investigation opportunities.

These are some ideas that, in my opinion, could make LSPDFR even more complete and enjoyable.

If anyone has any recent info about how development is going, I’d love to hear it. And to the developers: thanks for all the hard work you’ve put into making LSPDFR such an amazing mod.

Thanks!
