Dull textures - vertex colors problems

Featured Replies

Spoiler

I was having trouble with some textures that were too clear, even though I remapped them. After a lot of research, I changed the color of the vertex in the R channel to RGB(90, 90, 90), which partially solved the problem. In the game, the texture is the right color, but it's completely dull.

Here are two screenshots showing the objects with and without exposure to light.

Could contain: sky, transport, cockpit, vehicle, flight instruments, pilot, outdoor, person, control panel

As you can see, when exposed to light, the texture doesn't shine properly, and when it's in shadow, it turns completely black. By way of comparison, the dashboard of the car has the same textures, but reacts completely differently to light. I'd be grateful if someone could help me sort this out.
