LSPDFR Crashes On Startup - Initializing texture system; phase 14

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have been working on installing LSPDFR for about the last three days and have invested around 20 hours to get it working. I am trying to install LSPDFR, ScripthookV, Menyoo, OpenIV, EUPLO, EUP Menu, Compulite, StopThePed, UlitmateBackup and Simple Callouts - I have also installed an updated RageNativeUI and Native Trainer. During the install process I have gotten all of these plugins to work together twice, however I will go back and attempt to add another plugin (BetterEMS and HoldYourFire - respectively). I will attempt to open RagePluginHook, it will then open GTAV before crashing. The error log ends at Initializing texture system; phase 14. This is the end of every crash I will be documenting. After the game crashes due to the new plugin install, I will attempt to remove the plugin however, the issue will persist. I have fully uninstalled the game and restarted from square one. However upon re-install I would get the error with only LSPDFR installed and nothing else. I finally was able to complete the rebuild and make it work again. I made a full copy of the game while it was working. I managed to break the game again trying to add yet another plugin. I did the same thing, I removed the plugin that caused the crash - but I would keep crashing on start up. I figured, okay - no big deal. This is why I made a full back up. I installed my full back up and the exact same issue kept happening. So I completely uninstalled it all again and attempted to start from the beginning. I am following the same steps as before but now if I even install OpenIVasi the game will crash with the same error. I have searched through Reddit, Youtube and the LSPDFR forums to try finding the source of the issue and have came up with nothing.

A few side notes:

- I made sure I set the plugin timeout threshold to 60000

- I have attempted to add pack file limit adjusters and heap adjusters - however the game will crash (with the same issue)

- I have attempted to use a nightly build but once again, had the same issues.

- I am doing the process one step at a time, loading RagePluginHook after each change to ensure it works. However, so many this have caused issues here are some of the specific ones: On one occasion it would crash after installing menu, on another it would crash after installing openIV.asi, another it would crash after installing the updated RageNativeUI and it would crash with only LSPDFR installed on a fresh copy of GTAV.

- I use a legal copy of GTAV through Steam

- I have a pretty good computer with 48 gigs of ram (I have never previously had performance issues)

- I am running no sharers or visual addons for GTAV

- I made sure everything is the most recent version of the item

- I have tried running the unique items in isolation from the others to try and get crashes - the one that causes the most crashes is when I install OpenIV.ASI

I am not sure what is causing this issue or why it is the same issue, no matter what. If anyone can offer feedback I would greatly appreciate it.  I really just want to be able to play the mod. Attached is the crash log. It looks the exact same as the last 200+.

Thank you everyone.
