Local PD texture

Featured Replies

I am not the most experienced in making textures, but would like to use cars from my local department in my game.  Would anyone be able to make me some textures for the East Liverpool PD?  I have attached some images of the departments cars so that you can see them.  My only other request is that they are lore friendly and still say Los Santos. Use whatever car pack you would like, just let me know what one you go with.  Thanks in advance!

I would love to do this for you at some point. I am currently working on an update for my other packs, one being large and the other quite minor... in addition to working on other liveries as well. The moral of the story, I can get this done for you, but depending on the amount of vehicles you want, I have no idea when I will be done with it.

Otherwise, I do have other questions;

  1. Any chance you know what is on the roof of the vehicles? Is it the unit number or department abbreviation (ex LSPD)? I don't typically add unit numbers to my vehicles, as it just doesn't make sense to have two unit 34s, etc.
  2. Do you just want the 18 explorers like in the pictures you added, or do you want other vehicles like a charger as well?

That would be great thank you!  3-4 cars would be great, and my department to my knowledge only uses the explorers but I would like to have a variety.  I also am not sure what is on top of the cars so just a unit number would be fine!  Thank you!

Dude amazing job!  Can't wait to see it on the charger and Durango!  Oh and for the plate design, a lore friendly version of an Ohio plate would work, or you could take a swing at replicating the departments actual plates.  Whichever works for you.

SO I thought the pack I was using was reflective however not the case. I did the Charger so far, still might tweak the Los Santos Police Department and move it to the trunk but in the essence of keeping it uniform with the FPIU I skinned im not sure..

The plate is an SA exempt plate by default for the pack I'm using and there's an issue with the FPIU where you can't even replace the plate texture in OpenIV.

Could contain: text, land vehicle, vehicle, wheel, tire, outdoor, road, auto part, bumper, automotive exterior, automotive design, transport, police, car, ground, parked

Could contain: vehicle, land vehicle, wheel, text, outdoor, transport, road, car, tire, mid-size car, full-size car, sports sedan, auto part, automotive design, sedan, alloy wheel, street, police

Could contain: vehicle, land vehicle, tire, wheel, outdoor, text, sky, building, road, sport utility vehicle, auto part, vehicle registration plate, bumper, compact sport utility vehicle, automotive exterior, motor vehicle, family car, mini suv, car, transport, city, street, parked
