GTA and LSPDFR plugin both crashing when going on duty or calling backup

Featured Replies

Hi there!

My issue is that the game crashes when I go into duty, and if it doesn't crash, the LSPDFR plugin crashes when I make a backup call. I turned off every mod I had installed, yet the issue persisted. Along with some LSPDFR car mods, my GTAV directory also has heap adjuster, game config, and packfile limit adjuster files that should prevent the game from crashing.
After I installed LSPDFR into a retail edition of GTAV and removed it from the Steam version, the issue started to arise. I took that action since the Steering Wheel mod required an earlier version of GTA, and Steam would not allow me to play the earlier version. With the retail version everything operated smoothly at first, however, after I installed my car mods into the retail version problems started to arise.

From now on, every time I play GTA with the LSPDFR mod the outcome is different, sometimes the view does not even switch to the character and the viewpoint is in a random place, sometimes the whole game crashes randomly, and sometimes only the plugin crashes and sometimes everything just freezes and I have to stop the game with task manager.

The problem is not in the game because without LSPDFR everything works as expected.

Here is the log file:

I see that you don't have ragenativeui, try installing that (here) and see if the problem still persist, otherwise you could try by removing every plugin and put them back one by one to see which one causes the problem

Thank you for replying.

First of all, I already have (and had when the log file was created) the latest version of ragenativeui. I have both the RAGENativeUI.dll and RAGENativeUI.xml files in my GTAV directory.
I have removed all plugins from the game (except the steering wheel mod) so plugins should definitely not be the source of the problem.

I'm pretty sure the problem comes from OpenIV or I have some missing files, cause there is really nowhere else it can come from. I used to have some formerly deleted car mods in the agency file, but now I'm also pretty sure that the agency file should not be the source for the problems since I fixed and checked everything in there.

RagePluginHook.log

I tried to do that, but nothing really changed. I went on duty and called backup, around 8 seconds later I heard the crash sound of the LSPDFR plugin and after that the whole game crashed, so basically both the plugin and the game crashed at the same time. I also linked the log file.

Maybe it's a lspdfr mod problem, have you tried re-installing the mod?

Thanks. Reinstalling the LSPDFR mod worked.

I think the problem came because I took the LSPDFR files straight from the Steam version and directly copied them into the Retail version instead of doing the traditional installation.
