RPH Crashing GTAV (sometimes?)

Featured Replies

Hello! I am in need of some RPH Crashing assistance.

After I updated my Motherboard, GTAV has been crashing right when I launch it with RPH. But If I try to launch the game multiple times, I can sometimes get the game to start as if there are no issues, maybe 1 out of every 20 attempts, even LSPDFR works fine then too.

I have attached the log but oddly doesn't show much. Below is what I've already tried:

  • Renamed mods folder to _mods
    • Startup still crashed with the "Rage plugin hook could not hook game process. insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus"
  • Verified Game Files on Steam
  • Removed ScriptHookV (now readded)
  • Updated all Mods in mods folder
  • Updated all found .dll files
  • Turned on "Disable DirectX Hook" (tested this out)
    • This was the best thing I've done. When DirectX Hook is disabled, game runs just fine and all my mods are working but LSPDFR crashes when trying to go on Duty at Police Station
  • NOTE: No new updates to Mods folder prior to crashing

Needing some expertise... Usually pretty good at solving this myself but I'm at a loss.

Thank you!
