Opening Doors (LCPD:FR GTA IV)

Featured Replies

I was hoping someone might be able to give me a C# code example for making the player's character open or close a specific door, without entering it or anything. Like in LCPD:FR 1.1 where you can press LB (I use an Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PS3 controller exclusively on GTA IV, so I don't know the keyboard key off hand) to open either of the rear doors, or the trunk, and the player actually plays an animation of opening when the door opens. Also in said code example I need to know how to make the door open without making it spring back to the open position when you bump into it like what the trainers do. It would also be appreciated if I could get some code to figure out how to detect which vehicle door the player is standing next to, because I can't find anything to tell me any of this in any of the documentation. If it's actually there, please tell me where to look. I want to add this functionality to another mod that I've been working on for some time, since I decided to come back to it. Thanks in advance.
