Hi All,

 

Just recently got back to modding, updated everything with the game however im getting this above error on startup on the black screen before loading in, i have updated all mods, and only selected LSPDFR to boot by itself, still no luck, I've also ran the game normaly without booting LSPDFR and it works fine even with the mods folder.. Any help appreciated

1. Open the commandline.txt file, found in your main Grand Theft Auto directory, delete everything inside the file then add -windowed and save the file.
2. Try renaming your mods folder to _mods
Then try start your game again.

 

Just seems to be crashing on the loadRagePluginHook.loging screen now as appose to the black screen just before spawning in..

Follow the steps below. if they do not work move on to the next step

Do you currently have a `scripts` folder in your main game folder?
if you do Rename the scripts folder to `_scripts` and try launch again.
2. Remove any `ScriptHookVDotNet` files in your main game folder. Then try start your game again. 

3. Please upload your `Asiloader.log` and `ELS.log` (they can be found in your main GTA directory)

Ok so weird one, it still doesn't work even with the mods/scripts removed, I only had one script anyway singleplayer seems to work fine, the gun sounds, els. and graphics mods, and cars.

 

When i load into the game menu, and then load rph as normal, the game now boots to singleplayer but in the corner, gives me the same error, its not loading me into a multiplayer session to use my lspdfr multiplayer character. I have a new RPH Log now. ELS.logRagePluginHook.log

Just confirming your mods folder is still called `_mods`?

It was but when i loaded in with the mods folder called `_mods` it made no difference so i have changed it back

Please rename it back to `_mods` and do not rename it back until you have finished troublehsooting.
then run again and upload your new rph log if you crash

So strange one.. i was able to get in game, i paused and went to the police station made a new character, everything worked. This was while my mods folder was active but the scripts and ELS folder were disabled, i tried activating all the folders and it didnt work, i tried to then put it back to the way it had it and it wouldnt work...😅 ... So now it seems everything boots with the mods folder disabled, which is so confusing how i was able to load in that one time with it...

 

Any how im guessing its that folder i may have to remake, il post after i do this unless you have any other ideas to save me the hassle lol! thanks for your help btw!

so it seems the mods folder was the issue?
something in your mods folder is causing your issue. Either a mod you installed or a file you edited.
You can try revert the most recent thing you changed. Or you have to delete your mods folder and start a new one, as it is impossible for us to diagnose what's actually causing the issue.

 

Does anything stand out to you on there now? i re did my mods folder and added a few things in, single player works fine, i removed the scripts and els folder but still crashing. is there anything else i should do after making a new mods folder?
