LSPDFR Crashes when receiving callout or calling for backup

Here are a few things I would recommend trying. This particular error has to do with serialization of a certain file.

1. Install Microsoft .NetFramework. Instructions on how to do so can be found on the download page.

2. Ensure your graphics card and drivers are up to date. If they are, simply reinstall them.

3. Add / Allow your Grand Theft Auto V folder through your antivirus/firewall. This will vary depending on the antivirus software you use, so please search the internet on how to add an exception to your antivirus. There is the possibility your antivirus blocked it.

4. Right click on SlimDX, found in the main directory, and find "properties", here, go to permissions and allow the permissions Read, Read & Execute, and Access Folders.

Thank you for replying to me, tried everything you have suggested, All Microsoft C++ Have been up to date including .NET

Reinstalled Graphic drivers, Allowed/Excluded GTA V from anti-virus aswell as slimDX.ll itself, I have even changed the permissions to what you have suggested though it appeared as they were already on those settings.

Still the same issue. The infamous SlimDX error is a fun and unique one to troubleshoot. 🙃

Here are a few other things to try;

  1. Restart your PC. I should have mentioned this in my last reply, no idea why I didn't, but do this now and see if it goes through.
  2. Ensure your Grand Theft Auto V folder has the same permissions I mentioned earlier. (Read, Read & Execute, and Access Folders). You may also want to give a clean install of the links I provided earlier a try.
  3. Delete SlimDX from your Grand Theft Auto V folder and restart your PC. From there, redownload LSPDFR manual install and extract the .zip into your main directory.
  4. Try a clean install of the GPU driver and not just checking for updates. Also check to see if you have any Windows Updates.

Man this is so frustrating, i have done clean installs as you have suggested, and everything else!

i dont understand why this isn't fixed. I have no problem with ForceDuty or really any prompts so i don't get why the game force-closes as soon as a callout is created. Thank you again, Hopefully a fix is found for this...
