Does the model come with a "+hi_ytd" file as well?  If so, you need to add your livery file to that as well - if you don't, maybe it is conflicting with the livery that came with the model??  

Otherwise - definitely weird that OpenIV shows things fine, but the ingame spawn is off - almost looking like the wrong template was used.
