Game crashes when trying to load .dll files from "plugins" folder

Featured Replies

Hi, I run my game normally with RPH but if I type in the console "LoadPlugin (for example)LSPD First Response.dll" the game freezes for 3 seconds and then crashes. The same with other Plugins like Dashcam V, Bodycam and 4 more.  I tried renaming my mods folder to "_mods", installing a new version of RageNativeUI and many more topics from this website and from youtube. I do use some car add-ons like some bmw's, audi's and more but for the police vehicles I used models from LAPD that replace the normal GTA 5 cop cars.  I don't know if that helps or not but I have GTA 5 on Epic Games and not Steam. So if someone could help me I would be very thankful.

You having ScriptHookVDotNet (SHVDN) installed and trying to use it alongside RPH plugins is most likely causing the crash. You can try if it works after removing the ScriptHookVDotNet files (not ScriptHookV) from your main GTA V folder.

Let me know if it works.

Wait a minute though 😅

Be aware that the scripts in your scripts folder won't work without SHVDN. If you want to continue using them, you can try using the following "pre-release" (untested) version of SHVDN. It should fix the crash issue at startup you had.

https://github.com/scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet/actions/runs/5431847018

You need to be signed in with a GitHub account to be able to actually click on the SHVDN in the "Artifacts" section to download it.
