I've tried following some steps of maybe my scripthookv or ragenative.ui needed updating. But both did not work can't tell if it may be a plugin or something else. If I open the game and then ragehook it loads up for a while and runs through the loading screens and then closes out and asks to create a crash report. If I open gtaV via steam alone without rage, it will take me all the way to menu to click on start storymode or go online, but when I hit story mode, it shuts down instead

While I can't see your log, you've provided me with enough information anyhow!

Can you please rename your mods folder to _mods and try again?

This will temporarily disable your mods folder.

Actually I was able to get it to work after I updated gameconfig, however now I've run into a new problem as to when I go on duty (so far just through forceduty) it his some sort of user command list error. I am able to still play, but it seems my plugins do not fully load. Shall I still try that method of temporarily disabling mods?

That should no longer be needed. Instead, please send me an updated log file! (Be sure to attach it this time :))

You've got an error in your SpecialUnits.xml file.

It is:

The 'LocalPatrol' start tag on line 12 position 3 does not match the end tag of 'CustomRegion'. Line 108, position 5.

 

Make sure you haven't removed the </LocalPatrol> end tag!
