Traffic stop gone wild

Featured Replies

Hey new to the game, done the research but couldn't find the answer. How do you get the ais to quit going nuts during a traffic stop? When I try to pull them over, they are jumping curbs, hitting houses, flipping the car and all kinda crazy stuff ..hahaha Also hit l the y key on the Xbox controller to exit vehicle and it cancelled the stop? Any fixes for this? Thanks

Unfortunately, the AIs jumping curbs and what not is part of the GTAV pathing the game has, so they just follow that to the best of their ability. It really depends on location, as that seemingly happens more in city limits compared to the county limits. If you are looking for better pullover locations, I would recommend the Better Pullover Mod

For the traffic stop canceling, this is your traffic stop keybind, which you also used to initiate the stop. You can change this by visiting key.ini in Grand Theft Auto V/lspdfr and finding the TRAFFICSTOP_START_Key= value.

Hey I figured it out, I wasn't going to stage 3 lights when pulling them over and I ended up changing the traffic stop key bind to d pad up and that helped. I was using A on the controller and must have been hitting it by accident and cancelling the stop. Thanks!
