Hi if anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it I will try to be as informative a s possible I know this is a easy fix for the vets out there.im trying to install a vehicle pack and watching a tutorial vide on on how to install it. so i'm following the path as so. In open IV I have edit mode on click mods-update-x64then choose a patch day. After that your supposed to see dlc rpf rage package file but I mines goes directly to xml with 2 folders in it. 1 is content .xml and the other is setup .xml I don't even see dlc rpf rage package file anywhere. In the video when he clicks dlc rpf it goes to the same 2 xml folders that show on mine. Then we go x64-levels-gta5 then its supposed to go to vehicles.rpf I seem not to have that either mines goes to 3 other folders instead. first one has Generic,Scenario and streaming. Next has  Metadata (pso/rsc) doortuning.ymt popgroups.ymt sp_manifest.ymt zonebind.ymt and the last one is Rage Package file-lodlights.rpf paths.rpf and waypointrec.rpf. To expierenced gamers this is prob way too much info to figure this out lol I just wanted to try to give as much as I could as I do appreciate people using there time to assist others anyway that can help me along with this I will greatly appreciate it thank you.

Have you tried creating new copies of 'update' and the 'x64' file directories in your mods folder? 

Hey there im a newbie to this and not really sure how to do that would I click copy create new folder and paste? Just as  A fyi everything should be updated just 3 days ago I completely uninstalled everything lspdfr and gtav and started from scratch. I did this because the game was crashing on every single load up and I had tried everything to narrow it down but it was getting very frustrating. Now I add a plugin and play for a bit to see if it crashes so I know what did it but so far its been working fine.

Hello I just figure it out it was telling me the folder I was trying to edit was not in the mods folder so I had to ad it I did and now I was able to find the dlc.rpf and the patchday 20 thank so much for responding I appreciate it.

Update so I installed the car pack with success but the issue i'm having now is one I been having since I started playing gta on pc. when I install a car pack The lights never work all I get with them is the steady burn I cant not turn them off or on the only lights that work when I manually activate them are the tail lights lightbars etc. stay on a steady burn I cant figure this out. I have DLS installed as well as ELS. but for some reason I cant the els on screen menu to pop up when pressing control P. Before reinstalling everything I could. Maybe if I try uninstalling els? ELS was  working on the police cruiser before installing the car pack now with it replace with the new car from the pack and the others lights dont work. But with the other cars I did not replace they work hmmmm any ideas?

Ok  here's another update I fixed that issue as well for some reason I did not have advanced hook installed which is weird but I installed it problem fixed. Thank you for the advice you gave I have learned a zillon things today alone. Here is a question after I download things using winrar do I need to keep them saved in there or can I delete them once they are successfully installed to save space on my pc?
