The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LSPDFR wont load, crashes at "loading and populating the game world" screen

Featured Replies

If I run LSPDFR without adding scripthook I can get it to load.
But when i'm trying to run LSPDFR with adding scripthookV and the scripthookV.net files, LSPDFR keeps crashing when loading.
It gets to the splash screen and then slightly freezes right when it gets to "loading and populating the game world" then crashes to desktop

I have no mods installed and have no plugins installed.

I do have Simple trainer but that is as far as I can go
I renamed the mods to _Mods but did not make a difference. i have not added any mods or updated any existing rpf files.

I'm not sure what's causing the issue?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there,

Please keep ScriptHookV installed but remove ScriptHookVDotNet related files.

Let me know how this goes. 🙂

Is the Dotnet version required to run the popular plugins like stop the ped and all that?

Removing the .net versions seems to have worked for now. havent started adding plugins yet going to start now

ScriptHookVDotNet is not required for almost all LSPDFR Plugins.

It has known compatibility issues with RAGEPluginHook, which you can read about here

I would expect that it caused the issues you described. 🙂

Just added a bunch of plugins and they seemed to load without issue.:)

Do you know what plugins would be reliant on the dotnet scripthook so I can avoid them by chance if not no biggy didn't know if you would know

Off the top of my head, Pursuit Pack is the one I predominantly see coming up.

Most plugins / scripts that use ScriptHookVDotNet have a 'compatibility warning' on the file page. 😄

Hi, I read your conversation, and did everything noted there to do but nothing to do, it doesn't work! I tried to launch my game without RPH but it always crashes in the same place: laoding and populating game world. I also have lots of plugins and outfits, and vehicles to modify. Any help would be appreciated! @Charlie686, @Jbelltx04
