Arson suggestion

Perhaps we could have some angry rioters at an Internet cafe, and then while at the door when you turn up (presuming this would be a callout) he walked in and throws some molotovs, not sure if peds can throw molotovs but if they can't they could do an animation where the kneel then a fire begins to spread, you could try and arrest the guy then ALT+K to make civilians evacuate, then just leave or something, then you can call the fire department and they spray the building. Could be a good callout or you could have rioters beating on the windows or peds inside with bats and knifes and you have to stop them.

Cool idea but are you sure all that is possible to script and not cause mass og buggs?

I'm no scripter but it shouldn't be too hard, just make the range of fire like a Molotov then, if the suspect dosent burn himself to death arrest him, I throw molotovs into shops and cafes all the time, no bugs just toasted pedestrians. Edited by alfa1561

i think that would be a great idea but we also should make a script of the peds riot in the city on a serten street or something like that

Yeah, I mean LCPDFR's script already spawns peds attacking another, so why not spawn a group of them and get them to hit random people, then they'll hit each other and then they'll fight each other and we have a riot.

exactly so something like in the tunnel where they block cars and block the road so that no one can get through and they have guns and their shooting at the cops and swat is already on sceen thouught to make it look real

That is a great idea, maybe adding an investigation onto it, so when you get there the suspect already has left the scene, and a few more arson callouts have to occur before you can actually arrest a person.

Yeah, you could have multiple arsons before the arsonist is caught red handed or burnt to death, considering AI are stupid he'd eventually burn himself to death.

Exactly, only problem is fire from molotovs don't last long.

 

I remember seeing some FDLC youtube videos where they set fires via SNT and it spawned as a object, so it would continue to ''burn'' until the object was deleted, I thought how the hell do you do that... i found out it was a custom setting and not available to download... so the only problem i see with a arson call is spawning the fire

You would need to be able to put it out with water though.

Yeah, the one i saw couldn't be put out with water... which was the bad part of having it.

You know, fire is probably an entitie so it might be adjustable with scripting a bit like .ini files. You might be able to adjust the burn time to a very long time so that in game you would have loads of time to do what you need to do.

Most likely, like the intensity, how fast it spreads etc. If you have a block of houses that are attached to each other the flames could spread to the next building, causing a major problem...

when the fire spreads to large, let the dispatched FDLC spray it while the ambient fire response clears it up, that's what you should do.
