XML the new HTML?

Howdy! So recently I've been getting into the swings of lspdfr again and I've noticed that I no longer have xml I now have HTML for files.. nothing has been switched or anything besides an update to my computer recently. 

Surely we're all use to our RAR files looking like this

Now its like this and when you go to open the file it says html now instead of xml.. I know I'm not crazy could anyone help please lol.

Hey there,

If you go to the "view" tab in File Explorer, and show file extensions, you should see that the file is indeed a .XML.

I'm not savvy with Windows but I'd expect that the fact that your default application to open .XML files is Edge, means it is showing like it is.

You can change that by right clicking on the file, and using another application like Notepad to open it.
