The els lights panel works on everything but for certain modded cars it doesnt work. any idea?

It looks like there is a lot of unused/mislabeled vcf files. 

 

I would recommend 2 things:

-make sure you have the vcf with the correct filename of the vehicle/install the clean vcf that came with the vehicle

-make sure that the vehicle in question is in fact an ELS vehicle. This may be a case of non-els. If this is the problem switch ELS controlled on all extras and activate the extras manually in-game.

 

If these suggestions do not help. Link the vehicles/packs in question and I'll take a closer look.

 

 

im trying to get the panel into non els cars so whats the steps into fixing/doing them. just confused because some of my non els cars work but some dont, im not sure what file i would need to change or anything

Use these for non-ELS vehicles. For blue lighting use B&B, for red and blue R&B. Decide which one you are going to need and the change the name to the vehicle in question. For example SHERIFF or SASP1. Then load the game. Understand, that non-ELS vehicles will not be as customizable as true ELS models.

One other thing, looking at the photos you provided...are the lights on the Ferrari messed up as in the light textures are not in the right location or you have coronas for lights that should not be there? If so, that is a carcol issue. That means that a vcf file is not going to fix your problem. This commonly happens when trying to use FiveM models in single player. You need to use an addon pack for the vehicle and put the meta files in to correct the issue.
