GTA with LSPDFR doesn't go past 50fps

Featured Replies

Whenever I play with LSPDFR it almost feels like my fps is capped at 48fps (it isnt). I have a 1660ti with 6gb VRAM, 16gb of 3000mhz ram, and a i7-9700. All drivers updated to the best of my knowledge, and I have around 12ish plugins. Really need help as sometimes it can dip down so much that its unplayable. I don't think my system is the problem, and I don't believe I have a bottleneck. I really love LSPDFR but it's really annoying playing at 30fps. Any help appreciated.

I mean it sounds like you are on-par with what I would expect.

I've got about 10 plugins, a I9 9900k and a 2070 Super and I get ~55-65 fps @ high-ish 1440p settings. Not much you can do as this is a really intensive plugin.

Damn, it just seems like it isn’t using much of my CPU and GPU, so I feel like it could use it more and I could get more frames 🫤, especially when moving at high speeds it can get down to 25 fps.

Yea it really sucks. Just an ancient game I guess. 🤷‍♂️

What are you running graphically?

Sounds good. I also agree that it sucks. Moving cars and 25 fps doesn't mix well lol. Just one of the downfalls of a stone-age game.

Let me know if there is any changes I can make to possible make the game use more of my cpu and my gpu or to increase fps. thanks

The max you want to run is High. Turn everything to this.

The exceptions to this is PostFx. Turn this to Very High.

These can all go down to normal:

Shadow Quality

Grass Quality (This is very Intense)

Anisotropic can go down to x8
