Hello, i have a problem to where the police file just never has a livery and its the basic car livery when you want to make a car. I dont know how to explain it that well, but anytime install a car it doesnt work. Every damn time, no matter what car pack, no matter if its a crown vic, explorer or taurus, its always messed up. Its only police not police2 or police3, only police. Need some help its so annoying.

Go into where your police car is installed, then open policex.ytd. Make sure you have edit mode on. Search for "sign" in the window that pops up. You should be able to delete the skin that looks like this. Ensure that the skins' numbers rise in ascending order starting from 1. Click save, then try to boot.

I tried that yesterday, theres no skin like that its just my pd skin there.

Have you looked through the whole YTD file? There might be another texture that looks like that.

Yes, the problem is with every vehicle no matter what pack. Not just the car i have now, no clue why its like that with only police file

Do you have a trainer like Menyoo or anything?

Try switching the livery there. Should be under Menyoo customs.

That is so odd. Can you try copying the unmodified police section of these files into your mods folder files? This will revert any changes you have made to the police slot:

 

update/update.rpf/common/data/vehicles.meta

&

update/x64/dlcpacks/mpluxe2/dlc.rpf/common/data/carvariations.meta

Tried it,  didnt work either, i have 0 clue on how to fix this

Is it weird that i cannot find "police" in vehicles.meta? Or is that normal, i looked thru it but cant find it, police2, police3, police4, and policet are there but not police

Yea that's your issue lol. You need to add the police line that is in update/update.rpf/common/data/vehicles.meta to your mods folder version. This should fix it.

That wasnt the issue, it was in there just not coming up by ctrl+f idk why. Anyways, there was an addon pack i installed and it randomly had a police.ytd file. Deleted it, now its fine lol. Thank you for trying to help me man i appreciate it.
