I know its a complicated answer, but could someone link me or do it for me if they would like to help since it might take them 10mins and someone like me a while.

basically you can't alter the model  you can make new skins

but to alter the model you have to message the modeler and first ask the permission to modify it,    if its a locked file chances are  pretty slim that they will say yes

how ever you could message them and ask them if they could do it they may or may not say yes depending on their time they have avaible
